On November 8, 2025, twenty-four women curlers arrived in Kamloops as part of the Canada to Scotland Friendship Tour. ‘It is a long-standing tradition that fosters cultural exchange and international goodwill through the sport of curling. Dating back to 1955, the Friendship tour has allowed thousands of curlers to play games in hundreds of different locations throughout Scotland and Canada, strengthening relationships between the two countries and its citizens’.

In 2025, British Columbia hosted the Friendship Tour by inviting six women’s curling teams to play up to eighteen games at different curling clubs around the province. The last time the Scottish Tour visited British Columbia was in 1995. On November 8, the curlers visited Kamloops. They curled a game and had dinner.

The next Canada to Scotland Tour will be in 2030 and may include curlers from eastern or central Canada or the prairies.
